Dr. Howard Straub

Howard Straub, D.O. is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Straub is among the most experienced eye refractive surgeons in the United States, having over 40 years of refractive surgery experience and having performed over 58,000 laser vision correction procedures and 35,000 refractive procedures. Dr. Straub has taught surgical procedure skills to over 500 eye surgeons worldwide. He is the co-author of an ophthalmic textbook and has supervised FDA clinical trials. Thousands of patients, including fellow doctors, pilots, athletes, military personnel, and celebrities have trusted Dr. Straub for their vision correction needs.

In the past, Dr Straub has also served 22 years as an FAA Senior Aviation Medical Examiner. When he is not helping people to improve their lives through laser vision correction, he enjoys flying airplanes, seaplanes, and helicopters.
