Board certified laser eye surgeon Dr. Noah Kim is trained in comprehensive ophthalmology, with an emphasis on cataract, LASIK and ICL surgery. He has extensive experience in laser eye surgery his time working as the Chief of Refractive Surgery at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. After having his own LASIK surgery in 2007, Dr. Kim truly appreciates the life changing benefits of refractive surgery.
Growing up outside of Portland, Oregon, Dr. Kim appreciated the great outdoors of Pacific Northwest. In his free time, Dr. Kim enjoys shooting sports, traveling, camping, and enjoying nature with his family.

Dr. Kim attended the United States Military Academy at West Point where he received his Bachelor of Science and graduated with the distinction of the Superintendent’s Wreath Award for being in the top 15% of his class. Subsequently, he applied and was granted permission by the academic board at West Point to apply for a follow on medical school assignment, a distinction only given to the top 1% of applicants. He continued on to the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences where he earned his medical degree. He then went on to complete his transitional year internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center before completing his Ophthalmology residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, where he earned the title of Chief Resident.
