Being a collegiate athlete is one of the toughest challenges out there—balancing classes, practices, travel, games, exams, and a social life is no small feat. Get Your NIL Offer & Schedule Your Consultation
If we think you’re a good fit, we’ll guide you through our offer and help you schedule an in-center consultation to determine if you’re a LASIK candidate. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet and speak with your local staff.
Step 3
Treatment & Finalize Your Partnership
If you’re a candidate, we’ll proceed with the partnership, including any necessary paperwork and agreements. You’re then get treatment from some of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in the world.

NIL & Legal Rules and Requirements
To participate in our NIL program, collegiate athletes must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Compliance with NCAA and State NIL Rules
- Athletes must disclose their NIL agreements to their school’s compliance office.
- Compensation cannot be tied to athletic performance or game results.
- Compliance with School and Athletic Department Rules
- If your school has existing sponsorships (like apparel or vision care), double-check to make sure your NIL agreement doesn’t conflict with them. We’re happy to help you navigate this.
- Transparency & Content Rules
- Athletes must disclose their partnership with LASIK.com in all content, using hashtags like #ad or #sponsored in compliance with FTC guidelines.
- Make sure your posts comply with the guidelines of the platforms you use (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
LASIK & Medical Rules and Requirements
To ensure a safe and successful LASIK experience, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Medical Eligibility
- Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- Athletes must undergo a free in-center consultation to determine if they are candidates for LASIK.
- LASIK procedures will only be performed if it is deemed safe and appropriate by the attending medical staff.
- All required medical forms and consent documents must be completed prior to treatment.
- Scheduling
- It is recommended that athletes schedule their LASIK procedure during the offseason to allow for optimal recovery and performance readiness.
- Before scheduling treatment make sure your application has been approved and you have disclosed your NIL agreement with your schools compliance office.
- Commitment to Post-Treatment Care
- Athletes must adhere to post-treatment care instructions provided by their surgeon to ensure the best possible outcome.

- You’ll never be asked to link your NIL partnership to athletic performance or game results. This is all about YOU and your authentic story.
- All medical information will be protected in compliance with HIPAA regulations and shared publicly only with explicit consent.
- We encourage you to disclose your NIL agreement to your school’s compliance office. This ensures you’re following NCAA and state guidelines.
- Your compensation will always reflect the value of the work you’re doing—whether it’s discounts on your LASIK procedure or a fully covered treatment. We’re here to make sure everything is fair and straightforward.
