I recently had LASIK eye surgery at the Lasik Vision Eye Institute in Cordova, TN, and I am beyond thrilled with the results! As someone who had mono vision—farsighted in one eye and nearsighted in the other—I had some major concerns going in. I also wear makeup regularly, so being able to see clearly up close was very important to me. The team here listened to every concern I had, answered all my questions thoroughly,…

I had my LASIK procedure done just yesterday at The LASIK Vision Institute, and I can confidently say the experience exceeded my expectations. Dr. Machat was my surgeon, and he was both professional and reassuring throughout the entire process. He explained everything clearly, made sure I felt comfortable, and the procedure itself was fast and smooth. From the consultation to the post-op care, the staff was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. They answered all of…

The experience was definitely unlike any I've experienced, but the team made it comfortable and easy! The surgery was painless and all steps were explained during it. Aftercare is a pretty easy regiment to follow. The rest of the day was 90% sleep but the next day's vision made it 10000% worth it. For context, my previous contact prescription was -5.75 plus astigmatism. I'd definitely recommend the procedure AND the Lasik Vision Institute! ✨️

I was really scared, but the staff walked me through the whole procedure step by step. The procedure went by so fast, it felt like it was about an 8 minute process. It was painless. I could see immediately after I got out of the chair. After…

As with all medical procedures, individual results will vary, and anyone considering LASIK should speak with a doctor. A review of scientific articles published between 2008 and 2015 published in the Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery found that 99.5% (59,503/59,833) of LASIK treated eyes addressed in the literature achieved post-operative acuity better than 20/40
