Dr. Kristen Brown, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Kristen Brown has served as an Associate Professor of Optometry at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, as well as the Assistant Clinical Professor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry.

Dr. Brown holds faculty appointments at the New England College of Optometry and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences. Dr Brown held the position of Clinical Director of TLC Laser Eye Centers, serving both the Waltham, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island locations for 22 years.

In 2019, Dr. Brown was selected as the associate dean of clinical affairs at the New England College of Optometry.

Dr. Brown is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association.

With nearly three decades of experience as a clinician and educator, Dr. Brown brings a wealth of knowledge to the industry.

She has completed two residencies in the field of ocular disease; her first at the New England College of Optometry/Eye Health Services in 1993, and the second at Boston University School of Medicine as a PGY-II optometric resident in 1997. Additionally, Dr. Brown completed a two-year clinical fellowship in ocular disease and surgical co-management at the Pacific Cataract and Laser Center in 1995.

Dr. Brown received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from the University of California in 1988. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry in 1992.
