Dr. Clark Y. Chang
Dr. Clark Y. Chang is the Director of Clinical Services at TLC Laser Eye Centers. He has over a decade of clinical research experiences in corneal crosslinking and other advanced treatment methodologies.
Dr. Chang’s specialties include laser refractive surgeries and technologies (LASIK, PRK, SMILE, Corneal Inlays, ICL/Implantable Collamer Lens, IOL/Intraocular lenses), specialty contact lenses, collagen cross-linking (CXL) and various corneal surgery management.
A prominent eye care leader and clinical expert, Dr. Chang publishes extensively in modern applications of refractive surgery technologies, clinical management of keratoconus and other corneal pathologies, and innovative uses of specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Chang lectures in educational conferences, both within US and internationally, and he is an advisory board member for International Keratoconus Academy (IKA), Gas Permeable Lens Institute (GPLI) as well as Optometric Cornea Cataract and Refractive Society (OCCRS).
Clark Chang, OD, MS, FAAO completed advanced degree programs in both Doctor of Optometry and Master of Science in Low Vision Rehabilitation from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Dr. Chang’s residency training culminated his interests in cornea and contact lenses, which led to the completion of his 2-year fellowship program in Cornea and Contact Lens under the mentorship of with Peter S Hersh, MD.
During and after his fellowship training, at the Corneal and Laser Eye Institute and its Center for Keratoconus, Dr. Chang dedicated himself to participating in research clinical trials and to providing pre-operative and post-operative care for refractive surgery patients. He also specializes in designing specialty contact lenses for the optical rehabilitation in patients with various corneal disorders such as keratoconus and corneal transplant patients.
