Dr. Matthew Feng’s Bio and Credentials

Dr. Matthew Feng is a board-certified, cornea and refractive fellowship-trained LASIK and PRK surgeon who graduated magna cum laude from Harvard. He was a Dean’s Merit Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and co-chief resident at the University of Arizona. He completed additional fellowship training to specialize in the cornea, the part of the eye where LASIK and PRK are performed.
Dr. Feng has spoken nationally and internationally on eye surgery. He has published peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters, and award-winning surgical videos. He has received the U.S. Presidential Scholar Award, Gates Millennium Scholar Award, and American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award. He was named One to Watch by MillennialEye magazine and a #SoMe (social media) editor for the premier journal in eye surgery, Ophthalmology.
Before becoming an eye surgeon, Dr. Feng was a classically-trained concert pianist who played at Carnegie Hall three times. Now he enjoys applying that dexterity to the healing arts and is proud to have served professional athletes, elected officials, other doctors, and especially family.
